Meeting Our Agents:
What about your work excites you? To the core of my heart I just love to help people. I love to see the glow on their face when they find that special place called HOME. It’s like a treasure hunt and it’s my job to facilitate that hunt and find the winner.
How do you serve others? This is more than a business to me. My heart is to serve others and that may look like sitting down and helping them with a budget, holding a baby, changing a diaper… I’ll do anything if it will bring joy to someone’s heart because in return it’s going to bring me joy.
How do you keep pumped to help others? I’m constantly checking my “state” of being to make sure I’m not letting myself get lost in the muck of life. When I feel down I usually reach out to help someone or give something away in my other business because I know that’s going to pump me back up. I listen to a lot of podcasts on personal growth and listen to music that gives me life. I intentionally pour into myself so I have what it takes to be the person I want to be.
If you weren’t doing what you are today, what other job would you have? I can’t imagine myself not doing what I love but this question is easy. I always felt like I should have become a professional body language reader for the FBI or forensic psychology. Isn’t that funny? God gave me a gift of discernment and extreme sensitivity to those around me. I’d also love to be a psychologist as I’m very interested in why we do what we do and what makes us tick.
Tell us about your family. I love my family and would do anything for them. I have 5 kids (I had 5 kids 8 and under). Some call me crazy……they are probably right☺ I’m so grateful for each of them. They make me smile each and every day. My oldest son is in the Navy and on an aircraft carrier. I miss him dreadfully. He’s married and has one little guy that I’m crazy about. My second son is an engineer. My first daughter has given me 3 grandbabies. They are seriously the loves of my life. I can’t get enough of them. My fourth child – Lexi is pursuing her dream to be a Doctor and my baby is pursuing a college degree is Psychology. I am blessed beyond words.
